Step 1: Choose your certificate
To proceed to the next step, you need to generate the Certificate Signing Request (CSR) from your hosting control panel.
Step 2: Submit Certificate Signing Request
Select Apache/ModSSL under the choice of server software if your hosting server is running cPanel. Paste the CSR. Enter the domain name the SSL is meant for.
Step 3: Enter your contact details
Enter your full details or login to your Web4Africa account (if you have one) to populate the form with your existing contact details.
4. Product Configuration – Email Validation
To validate your ownership of the domain name, you need to select an existing email address (or forwarder) that verification emails would be sent to.
Step 5: Payment
The final stage of the Order Process would be to pay for the chosen SSL Certificate.
Once payment is made and authorization emails would be dispatched to the chosen email address selected prior, automatically. Once the authorization is obtained, the SSL certificate would be sent via email to the same address.
In the case of EV SSLs, extensive business verification would follow after payment is made before the EV SSL is issued.
