How to qualify
We do remove the cost of domain registration or transfer from your invoice automatically when you order for annual web hosting on our Linux hosting platform, or Plan C on our Windows platform. However, the domain name must be included in the web hosting order, to qualify. Also, it must be the domain name being used for the hosting account. You cannot send a separate domain name later, to claim “free registration”.
UPDATE: as of 13 December 2018, the free domain name applies to the first year only. The domain would need to be renewed at full cost when the web hosting service is being renewed.
Example: if you are hosting whatever.xx, only the whatever.xx domain qualifies for free registration/transfer. Also, you must include the whatever.xx domain registration/transfer in your web hosting order.
What Domains qualify
Free Domain Registration applies to the following extensions only:
- .com
- .net
- .org
- .biz
- .info
- .name
- .com.ng
- .org.ng
- .co.za
